Well our budget is sure squeaking this month, we are not over but sure are standing very close to the edge. Yet in reviewing this month it was almost all needs, well I will admit a few wants sneaked in too.
In remembering how our spending plan has been used and abused this month, we went to the splash pad today for some free fun. Not many things now a days are free but this truly had no expense for us today. We had a nice hardy breakfast and packed some snack and off we went. All the children really wanted was cold water and their little bodies ran like the wind through the water. I didn’t have it too bad either I sat in the shade where I could deligently watch them and relax a bit.
We will definitely do this again soon, my 3 yr old was so worn out he is taking an awesome nap now and mom can take one too. 🙂

That looks SO FUN! When I was little the park had a fountain that was quite large, and all the kids and some adults played in it. It was a lot of fun. They also had a small zoo there too that was free. I don’t know if it’s all still there or not, I moved away many years ago.
