We need one of these in our neighborhood, but have not seen one in site!
Well, my husband tried to go to work this morning, I say tried because I didn’t think he would get very far. He got stuck on a snow bank just leaving our driveway. He came inside to get me to help him in getting in the car while he pushed. Took us a minute or two but we got our car out of the snow bank. I had help now it was time to go back inside our warm home, but wait there is more.
I was walking in and lost my footing and thought and felt like I was going to fall. I struggled for a few seconds and regained my balance, without falling. Oh the pain in my left knee was terrible, I slowly walked inside with my husband help. I plopped on the couch and my leg throbbed a bit and started feeling better. I was told by the insurance nurse on the phone to stay off my feet for 24 to 48 hours. I also put ice on it every two hours.
I am so ready for this snow to go away because honestly it has lost it’s fun factor for me by now and many other people in our area.
As I type this we are getting ready for a few more inches of the fluffy annoying stuff to fall on us. Yet I can’t help but feel fortunate to at least not have lost our power for the time being.
How is the weather in your area? Is it warmer than ours? Or is it just as frosty.

ah yes….we have MORE of the fluffy white stuff too! I’d say about 4 inches over night and it’s still coming down. I’m ready for warmer weather!

23 degrees right now, but at least it’s not snowing today!

Nice Michelle, great that you don’t have snow, the stuff is really annoying me by now, time for it to move on. 🙂
Sandy says
Yes Anna I am so ready for warmer weather and for the snow to melt and be gone hehehe.

Well, first of all I hope you feel better! It’s all too easy to slip and get hurt in this kind of lovely weather — sigh.
We got more snow today — not a lot but enough to drive me into a bout of winter depression — grumble. I am so tired of snow and ice and all that — ready for Spring now 🙂
Take care of yourself and be careful!
Sandy says
Marie, I too am a bit blue with all this snow, but I think it will get better for us here in Oklahoma soon. Well at least I am hoping it will get better soon sigh.
My knee is still sore and I wobble around but for now I have not had to go to the doctors office. I am staying off the ice and snow and won’t go out again till it melts away.
Thanks so much for visiting and tomorrow I will stop by your blog and sit a spell and look around a bit.
