Our newest family member
We rescued her from OK Save A Dog, last Saturday. We have been thinking about getting a dog for a few months, I was the one holding it up. It was a big decision for me as I have only owned one or two pets I can remember.
We decided to go get her on a day when the snow had melted a bit and we were all feeling cabin fever bad. We had not left the house for five days and had had enough. I am glad we did it that day too because now we are getting even more snow and our streets still have not been cleared of snow.
We drove about 1 1/2 hrs to go pick her up and the roads were pretty descent till we got to our neighborhood. She did have a tiny accident on the way home and did her business on a towel I was holding her in. Poor little girl was so nervous, but now she is making herself right at home.

Sandy, she is adorable! So glad that she is adjusting well. Sounds like you are too. 🙂 My 8 yr old daughter wants a new puppy so badly and I’m the one holding up the decision too. Not quite ready, but one day . . . maybe.

Thanks Christie for stopping by, I just adore your journal pages.
I am adjusting well to the new puppy, she is like a baby. All she want to do is eat, sleep and well poop haha. Well she wants to play a bunches too but she is also mellow when she want to be. She doesn’t bark much and my children are really enjoying her.

Rachel, I will take bunches of pictures. Now I can add a few thousand more pictures to the ones I have of my kids. I am going to need a new external drive to keep up with the demand for space for my pictures.
Thanks for stopping by it makes my heart smile when visitors comment, as my little blog is still so new.
