Our family has been sick with a nagging cold lately. My kids both had ear infections , mom and dad both had symptoms too. I think we are out of the woods for now but one never knows.
On the plus side by putting our head together we have finally gotten out of consumer debt. Now the challenge is to stay on budget and grow our 8 mths of emergency fund.
I am looking for ways to cut our food budget because I know that is an area we have struggled with all along. One thing we have implemented is only 2 trips maximum a week to the grocery store. Both my husband and I struggle with impulse buying when we walk into the supermarket.
And so the journey continue to financial peace.

so……are you saying no more debt updates cause you paid it all off? That is SO AWESOME! It’s a good feeling, for sure.

The debt is paid off but updates will definitely continue as we are not out of the woods yet. Plus it will be an ongoing process till we feel comfortable with where we are at.
I am having a difficult time now balancing the budget. We don’t have a choice but to make it work and trim from areas till it does work for us. I will continue to blog about this as it helps keep me focused and motivated. We have not share our milestone with family till we are further ahead in this process.
