This is one of my favorite recipes to make for my family. I love chicken too, my husband says we are going to turn into chicken. When we do eat chicken it’s most likely inspired by hubby. Between the two of us we eat almost all our meals at home, every once in while we eat out but not very often since paying off our debt.
Chicken Fricasse
What you need: 2 2lb chickens, 3 cloves garlic, 1 sour orange, 1 green pepper, 1 large onion, 1 can tomato sauce, 1/3 cup oil, 1/2 cup capers (I leave these out most of the times), 2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1 cup dry wine, 1 lb potatoes,
What to do:
Cut chicken into quarters, and cover with crushed garlic, sour orange juice and onion and green pepper rings. Brown chicken quarters in hot oil, add the onion, green pepper and orange and then the tomato sauce, capers, wine, water, salt and pepper. When this is half cooked, add the potatoes and finish cooking. Just before serving, petit pois may be added if desired. Serves 8
Serve this over white or brown rice We make brown rice 98% of the time now, I still revert back to the white rice my mom and grandma used to make when I was growing up.
We make this and save the leftover for lunch the next day for my husband at work and for me and the kids at home.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.
Our Anniversary is coming now on February 14 and this would be a great for me and my husband to go for this awesome getaway in beautiful Branson.. We would just enjoy the breakfast in bed, not having to go out to a sit down restaurant would be so romantic and relaxing..
I would love to have the Valentine Salad as part of my meal when we do go out for a nice meal. Going out to eat can be very romantic and exciting. This is would definitely be my favorite part of the meal at the Level 2 Steakhouse.
I am going to get a friend of mine to send him this post and maybe I will be enjoying an awesome Valentines Day /Anniversary stay with lots of romance and relaxation.

I have not had my i Phone for too long, and always wondered what all the hoopla was about, why everyone was so into this tech thingy.
When we were getting out of huge debt I canceled our cell phone plans. I just didn’t want anything with a contract tying up our money. Took a bit but finally convinced my husband that was the way to go for that time. We used some minute phone for emergencies only. Once we got out of debt last January we were finally ready to jump into the tech of the i Phone.
Let me tell you at first I resented the expense the first month it hurt me the second month same feeling. As I learned how to use it more and more it blew my mind how useful this tech was for us. I was suddenly hooked at how much my new little device could do.
Now I feel that this tech is one I can’t live without, well if we ever needed to for the sake of staying out of debt I would. Yet for the time being this mommy is enjoying it and using it on a daily basis.
As a mommy there is one app for my kids allowance that has been a life saver, no more having to use a paper notebook. I can add and subtract allowance given and used. This way my son knows how much he has left to spend at the click of a button.
What one piece of technology can’t you without?
Also, what tech do you wish would disappear from the world?
