Name someone who deserves more credit than they get. How to change things so they get more

Well my dear hubby doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves from me. I often take him for granted and forget to thank him. As part of my goals in 2012. I will make a sincere attempt to say thanks and be more appreciative of the help he gives me here at home. I really can’t complain as he helps me with the kitchen in cleaning and cooking. He is also a great help with the laundry, washing and folding.

He suffers from the same predicatment I suffer from, we both tend to leave the clothes in the dryer too long and it gets all wrinkled. He often helps me and reminds me to spin the load again to smooth them out. It is difficult to stay on task when our dryer doesn’t have that loud beep to signal to us it is done.

My dear hubby also remember quite often to bring me pretty flowers for my vase. When he helps me with my grocery shopping he takes it upon himself to buy me flowers and in my favorite color too.

Who can you name that deserves more credit than they get? How are you planning to change it so they get more?

Are you good to people you don’t know? How, when and why?

I attempt to be good to all people, unless they are not good to me. For example I went to Wal-mart 12/29/11 and went to ask for some items at the deli. I asked the deli clerk for some ham and at first she was not very nice to me. She is probably a very good person just having a bad day, but she was a bit short with me. I paused for a few seconds and kept asking her for all the items I needed. She finally cracked a smile and ask me if I needed anything else. I said I was all done and thanked her for her help.

I could have handled it by not being good to her and snapping at her but I didn’t. I took a deep breath and was still good and polite to her.

I truly do attempt to be good to people I don’t know every day.
