Birthday Gift With A Recycle Twist

by Mommy on November 18, 2009

I am making a little something to give a dear friend for her birthday.  I am trying to get better at remember special occassions.  I have invited her over tomorrow for tea and cookies.

I had been saving this container knowing I wanted to use it some how but was not sure how till yesterday.

This worked really good for me, and make me feel good to recycle and help the environment.

that is cute and VERY clever! What kind of paper did you use on the top?

I used regular copy paper, I have a variety of papers but this one worked well.

I would have added more fancy ribbon, but all I have now at home is curling ribbon :-)

Glad you like it and let me know if you try something similar.
